Resources for Teachers and Community Partners

Let us bring the library to you! Plan a visit with a librarian during class time or break periods to share book recommendations, program samplings, library card sign-up information and more. Field trips to the Library are available, too!  Fill out the Outreach Request Form to get in contact with a librarian.

We can assist with selecting and reserving materials for your classroom that will be checked out to your teacher account, thanks to an agreement between the libraries and local school districts. A Teacher Card will allow you to access materials using a library card for your classroom, including multiple copies for a single title for in-class use. In addition to our print and physical collections, you'll have access to digital collections including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines and databases, as well as our Library of Things/Circulating Equipment!  Fill out the Teacher Card Request form to get started.

We are also happy to provide support for your students for class research projects, reading assignments and other homework assignments. Materials can be pulled for use at the La Grange Public Library or for check-out.
