Visit our play space
Visit our play space with fun, enriching activities geared towards children up to age five. Older kids can check out our Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headset to use in our Tween space or build STEAM skills with a variety of tabletop toys. Two public iPads featuring curated apps and four public desktop computers are specifically reserved for children. Tables are available for homework and tutors, too.
Born to Read: Welcome Baby Bags
Residents of La Grange and La Grange Public Library cardholders that are expecting or have a child under 6 months of age can request a bag of materials to support early literacy for their young child.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Participate in this exciting program that helps kids gain the confidence to become strong readers, and encourages caregiver and child interaction through sharing books.
