Join us as a storyteller shares books and rhymes in Spanish. Children will learn Spanish words with the help of engaging stories and an emphasis on repetition for children’s developing minds. The storytime includes games and crafts. No sign-up needed. - Spanish Lessons with The Language Labs (FULL)

- Website Translation: Did you know you can translate our website into Spanish? Go to the top left corner of any page and select “Español” from the drop-down menu.
- Hoopla: Audiobooks, eBooks, movies, television, comics, music and more. Go to the top right corner of the screen and click on the three little dots. Use the Advanced Search menu to search by format and language. Using the Music and Spanish filters takes you to a list of 1,000s of songs!
- Libby/Media on Demand: There is so much to explore! There are 200 Spanish language magazine titles and hundreds of books for adults, teens and children. Español – Media On Demand – OverDrive
- LinkedIn Learning: Offers Spanish for Absolute Beginners. There are also many classes in Spanish. Type a subject in the search bar and then under the “All Filters” button, choose Spanish.
- Freegal Music: Listen to some Latin Jazz or recent Latin Grammy Nominees.
- PressReader: Login to PressReader and search “digital newspapers country or region.” If you select Mexico and Puerto Rico, for example, you will find 157 Spanish language newspapers to choose from!
- Mango Languages: There are courses for English language learners, including professional courses for job seekers. There are also courses for those wishing to learn Spanish, including Medical Spanish and Spanish for Librarians. Get started now.

- World Language Collection: Did you know you can search the Library catalog by language? For example, if you use choose Format/Book, select Fiction and Non-Fiction and Language/Spanish your results include 330+ books in Spanish. You can refine these results by selecting “Audience” and then choosing “Juvenile,” “Adult” and/or “Young Adult.”
- Kanopy: Stream movies and television shows. From stirring dramas to eye-opening documentaries, these films capture the essence of vibrant narratives and deep-rooted culture taking you on a memorable journey. Get started with VOCES American Historia.
- Read About Hispanic History: History lies at the heart of this month’s celebration. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we will have a special display of books from prominent Hispanic authors, with some detailing the history of Hispanic nations and the evolution of their cultures, and others displaying the mastery and uniqueness of Hispanic creative writers.
