This spring, enjoy documentaries featured on PBS’s Independent Lens including The Grocery List Show, The Librarians and more. These screenings offer a space for sharing ideas and making connections that shape our understanding of the world.

Did you know the library building will turn 20-years-old in November 2027? To celebrate this milestone and guide the library into its next 20 years, a group of supporters, including former board members, the Friends of the Library, and La Grange resident Steve Palmer are exploring the idea of starting a La Grange Public Library Foundation.

Did you know the original La Grange Public Library building was funded by Andrew Carnegie? Due to our historical status as a Carnegie Library, we received a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Learn more about how the grant will be utilized and see all upcoming March-May programs.
