TEEN ADVISORY BOARD
Thursdays, September 9 and October 14, 7-8 pm The La Grange Public Library is seeking teens who love the Library and want to help shape its teen services by forming a Teen Advisory Board. TAB is a forum for teens aged 12 through high school who want to suggest materials that the Library should purchase for teens, such as great books, music and videos. We will meet from September through May on the second Thursday of the month for an hour to discuss books, magazines, teen issues, and programming. Come on out and let your voice be heard!
Tuesdays, September 14 and October 12, 7-8 pm Do you have an inner writer itching to come out? Are you a poet, or are you working on a fantasy or a detective novel? Are you the next Anthony Horowitz or Sarah Dessen? Let’s meet every month to share our work and try fun writing prompts and exercises. Maybe we’ll start a La Grange Library teen ‘zine! Please register for this program.
